Attendees will take a bus to the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park Battlefield, where they will begin their tour with a 30-minute movie. Then a park ranger will serve as a tour guide and will share the historical significance of the major battles that occurred there. Then attendees will head to Point Park on Lookout Mountain and hear about the battles that raged on the mountainside. As the tour comes to a close, attendees can explore the Fuller Gun Collection, which features over 300 rifles from the Civil War Era, and the souvenir shop. This tour takes approximately 5 hours.

Hands-On Grade Crossing using LCC

This clinic is limited to ten (10) participants; Cost is $0.


This clinic consists of a presentation about Layout Command Control (LCC), and how LCC modules (I.e. nodes) are used on the layout.  The second part of this is a hands-on clinic, the attendees will configure a grade crossing with block detection using LCC demonstration modules.   Tasks include configuring block detectors to start and stop grade crossing road signals.

Participants will learn how block detectors, push buttons, panel indicators and lams are configured with LCC modules. 

This is a condensed (and cheaper!) version of the LCC Clinic at the National Convention in Texas and the MCR Convention in Dublin.

LCC Demonstration nodes & USB cables will be provided.   Please note that this is _NOT_ a make & take clinic.   We need these nodes for future clinics.

Participants will need to bring a laptop computer with JMRI PanelPro (OpenLCB/LCC tools) installed and running.
