Please meet your Bus Guide in front of the Marriott Hotel to load onto the buses by 12:45 pm.

Join us for the Garden Tours and learn more about the exciting work our communities are doing to end food insecurity. Each tour will provide a different experience that we know you will enjoy!  

Tour 1: School Gardening

Tour 2: The I-630 Green Tour

Learn about sustainability and outreach practices to serve the community and address food insecurity.

Dunbar Garden, 1720 S. Chester St, Little Rock

Learn how to operate a “Pay What You Can Market” and collaborate with local restaurants.

Learn how to utilize animals, plants, and a hoop house to feed your community year-round. 

Tour 3: City of North Little Rock

Learn how gardening is building community among seniors and how the City of North Little Rock has created a community garden model program for other municipalities. 

Dark Hollow Community Development Corporation, 1002 Curtis Sykes Dr, North Little Rock

Led By: Belinda Burney 

Learn how the Community Development Corporation purchased a vacant lot and transformed it into a community garden for change.
