Conference Course Package of Saturday Clinical, Contemporary and Sunday Contemporary, Clinical

Come spend the weekend with us for an immersive experience, registration through the Canadian Pilates Method Society is required to secure your spot. This all-inclusive ticket gives you full access to the complete four-part workshop sequence. Your conference experience is structured to take you from a high-octane athletic morning into creative contemporary integrations, foundational classical roots, and a final fitness finish:

Lunch is included both days

  • Day 1 | Morning: The Clinical Workshop

Designed for rehabilitation professionals, physical therapists, and experienced Pilates instructors, this session examines the therapeutic mechanisms behind Joseph Pilates’ original exercises. Participants will analyze how the principles of core stabilization, axial elongation, and segmental spinal movement can be clinically applied to address musculoskeletal pathologies, improve neuromuscular efficiency, and facilitate safe post-injury rehabilitation with loaded mobility sequences for active recovery.

Day 1 | Afternoon: The Contemporary Workshop Shift gears after lunch to expand the boundaries of your practice. Learn how to utilize small apparatus (suspension, rollers, and balls) to challenge deep stabilizers, integrate 3D mobility, and facilitate myofascial release during Reformer and Tower sequences.

This unique contemporary workshop bridges the gap between deep anatomical awareness and seamless, creative pacing. In the first half, we will dive into an evidence-based breakdown of joint mechanics, exploring the true biomechanics of core stability, pelvic placement, and shoulder organization so you know exactly which muscles should fire during complex shapes. Then, we put theory into motion.

  • Day 2 | Afternoon: The Clinical Integration Wrap up your conference experience by circling back to the mechanics of fitness. Apply everything you've learned over the weekend to master complex, multi-joint lifts, time-under-tension adjustments, and dynamic movement progressions that will analyze how the principles of core stabilization, axial elongation, and segmental spinal movement can be clinically applied to address musculoskeletal pathologies, improve neuromuscular efficiency, and facilitate safe post-injury rehabilitation.
