In March 2023, the IPACCS ASM will take place in the wonderful venue of Kinnitty Castle Hotel. This will be our first meeting since 2019 and we are excited to meet in person. As is a tradition for this meeting partners and children are welcome to attend. The meeting will focus on Paediatric Anaesthesia, Paediatric Intensive care and will comprise of talks from Consultant Colleagues and trainee presentations.
The venue offers luxury accommodation in the picturesque village of Kinnitty, Co. Offaly. Nestled in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Whilst staying at the Castle, why not take a wander through the Castle parklands, home to many woodland walking trails as well as the walking and bike trails up the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

The most straightforward route is to exit the M7 at junction 15 (Emo), head to Mountmellick and from there travel towards Birr. Google maps may suggest leaving the M7 at junction 18 to Mountrath. The road from Mountrath to Kinnitty is across the Slieve Bloom Mountains. While beautiful, it is not advisable at night.
