Chairman's Welcome
Please mark your calendar and make plans to attend the 38th National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments scheduled for April 3 - 7, 2023 at the J. W. Marriott Indianapolis, Indiana.  We are looking forward to a Conference that will once again provide an invaluable forum to deliberate many important issues facing the National Grade “A” Milk Program.  We hope you plan to attend and assist in the resolution of proposals submitted for consideration.

We are also pleased to announce that there will be three separate virtual webinar sessions for the NCIMS Symposium, Orientation and Robert's Rules of Order prior to the Conference. I urge Conference registrants to attend these live webinars on the dates listed below, but If you are unable to attend a recording will be available to view or download afterwards from the NCIMS website.

   NCIMS Symposium - March 9, 2023, 1:00 - 3:00 pm ET
   NCIMS Orientation - March 14, 2023, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm ET

   NCIMS Robert's Rules of Order - March 15, 2023, 11:00 am - Noon ET

The Orientation session will provide an overview of the Conference structure and process including how proposals are considered and amended, along with the makeup and roles of the Executive Board, State Delegates, Council and Committee members, and FDA Advisors. The Robert's Rules of Order webinar will include a helpful presentation on the Parliamentary Procedures used during the Conference, by our new Parliamentarian Dave Lattan.

Pre-Conference Virtual Sessions
With the 2023 NCIMS Conference being held over a fewer number of days, the Program Committee plans to host the NCIMS Symposium, Orientation and Robert's Rules of Order sessions virtually before the Conference.
Save the dates of March 9, 14 & 15, 2023 in your calendar! Details and times are listed below.
All Conference registrants will receive additional information via email about how to register for the Pre-Conference Virtual Sessions. Virtual NCIMS Symposium Session

This year’s Conference attendees will be able to join a zoom webinar  Symposium prior to the Conference to listen to the latest current topics impacting the Grade "A" Milk program.

Virtual NCIMS Robert's Rules of Order Session

The conference rate for government employees with ID is $127.00 (GSA per diem lodging rate) and the rate for all other attendees is $209.00.  Room rates are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, currently at 17%.  
The NCIMS room block only has a limited number of rooms aviaible at the JW Marriott hotel. Once capacity is reached at the JW Marriott hotel, rooms will be available at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Indianapolis at the same rate using the link below.
The Courtyard hotel is attached to the JW Marriott by an indoor walkway.
The cut-off date to receive the special hotel room rate is March 10, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.  Rooms and rates cannot be guaranteed after that date.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis is located in central downtown, close to restaurants and shops. It offers spacious meeting rooms and modern updated sleeping rooms.  It is the perfect place for work and to explore Indy.

The Conference is a non-profit organization made up of persons involved in the dairy industry, from the dairy farmer, to processing plant personnel, to those persons involved in inspecting the dairy farmer’s operation and/or the processing plant, to those persons who make the laws concerning the inspections, to those who enforce the laws, to the academic researcher and adviser, to the consumer of the dairy products.
