Out with the old, and in with the new...
Please join us in our demolition celebration! We are excited that we will be starting the new year with the beginning phases of our new trauma-informed Single Parent's Training & Child Development Center! Our center provides trauma-informed care and support for formerly homeless children to get them on track developmentally. An on-site child development center will enhance our case management services, which includes promoting positive parenting, and aids parents in caring for the physical, social, and emotional health of themselves and their children.

Our child development center will serve infants/toddlers/2-yr olds/3yr olds/4-yr olds:
• Storage area
• Laundry facilities
• Programming space & Play Area

With over $4.5 million dollars given through the Louisville Housing Trust Fund and the giving of many others, our vision has become a reality.  

Our Developers
We greatly appreciate our development partner, River City Housing, a non-profit, single-family home developer focused on providing affordable, high-quality, and energy-efficient homes for their clients. River City Housing has worked tirelessly to support us in securing the major funding for the project, through grant proposal and contract review.

Architectural Design Team
Additionally, we'd like to thank K Norman Berry Associates (KNBA) for the architectural designing of this project. Our trauma informed design encompasses a resource area, training & ministry area, and individual 2-story apartments for our students and administrative offices! Both the design and developers have been instrumental in supporting our efforts in solicitating the services of our General Contractor Bosse Construction.

General Contractor
Our general contractor overseeing this project is Bosse Construction with over 30 years in the commercial construction industry, with a team consisting of project managers, estimators, and cost accounting professionals. Further, their team consist of well-seasoned superintendents and talented crews of craftspeople, who also self-perform concrete and carpentry trades.
