The event will provide a unique experience in which attendees can enjoy the most popular staple of El Salvador from different vendors, network with likeminded souls, shop from small businesses, learn from non-profits mission to make change, take pictures with your besties in our photo opp space, and enjoy a panel conversation on the history of pupusas and Salvadoran cuisine while you enjoy some cumbia jams from DJ Rod.

From traditional chicharron con queso, to shrimp con queso, to putacos, we want them all and can't wait to showcase the Chefs that we have lined up! These are Pupusa Artists, pupusa chefs that have learned their grandmothers recipes and have added their own creative spin! You don't want to miss

About the Panel: 
The panelists are Karla T. Vasquez founder of Salvi Soul who is currently documenting the stories of Salvadoran women and their recipes; Bernie Molina author of Herencia Cookbook
who celebrates her bicultural identity of Mexican-Salvadoran and published a book to honor her cultures; and last but not least Alicia Maher award-winning author of Delicious El Salvador and chef recognized internationally for all her efforts to educate on Salvadoran dishes. The panel will be moderated by Alexis Tirado, award-winning multi-platform storyteller. She is currently at Netflix leading Con Todo, the streamer's US Latino brand on the internet.

The Pupusa Contest:
The judges will be a mix of the panelists: Karla T. Vasquez, Alicia Maher, Alexis Tirado, and special guests including Actor/Producer: Curly Velasquez of Buzzfeed's Pero Like, Patty Rodriguez co-founder of Lil' Libros, Actor/Singer and Entrepreneur Somaya Reece and others! The judges will enjoy a taste of each pupusa chef and select the best, based on creativity and flavor!
