Excursions
Enjoy our self-guided tour of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards! We will have all
the places you won’t want to miss. Be sure to be there by 11:20 am so you don’t miss the world-famous cattle
drive. The Stockyards are guaranteed to have something for everyone; shopping, great food, drinks, and loads
of history. We have some great suggestions for places to grab lunch while you are there. Be prepared to have a
little cash if you choose to do photo ops on a longhorn!
Cost FREE Time 10:30-2 will meet at a designated location at the hotel prior to the event to carpool at 11.
The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is the only museum in the world dedicated to honoring women of the West, and from around the world who have displayed extraordinary courage and pioneer spirit in their trailblazing efforts. It includes interactive exhibit galleries that feature artifacts of the permanent collection, a traveling exhibit gallery, two theaters, a gift shop, a research library and archives, and a NEW second floor. Currently, the museum’s archives house more than 4000 artifacts and information about more than 750 remarkable women. Lunch is not included so plan to get something before or after. A List of suggestions will be provided.
Cost $10 for parking and $7 for the museum entrance. We will meet at a designated location at the hotel prior to the event to carpool.
BYOB and get ready for some great laughs! Each pedal pub can seat 16 people.
Coolers with ice, lunch, and bottled water will be provided. Please do not bring any glass. Get to know other
moms as you pedal around downtown and see what it has to offer. Great laughs are guaranteed!

Setting the Tone for Healthy Technology Use in Your Family, Sarah Brooks: Setting family boundaries with devices and social media can be a divisive topic, especially between children and their parents. Listen as Sarah discusses setting age-specific boundaries for device usage at all ages as well as setting the tone for healthy boundaries even before kids reach the age to apply these limits.

2. Self-Care Isn't Selfish, Amy Simpson: As a working mom of twin girls, Amy knows the importance of self-care and what a difference it can make in your life. We all are better, more effective members of our families and our
workplaces when we put ourselves first once in a while. But self-care can seem so indulgent
and unattainable, so how can we carve out time to prioritize ourselves? Amy can help us figure
it out!

Everyone is encouraged to attend this meeting!  All Executive Directors, Committee Chairs, Elected & Appointed Officers, Club Delegates and Alternates should be in attendance...but everyone is welcome, and every club should be represented. During this meeting, official reports are given, future convention sites are determined, by-laws are revised, and elections are held (for the 2023-2024 TMOM Executive Directors and the Nominating Committee and Alternates). Delegates, this is where you represent your club by casting your club votes. Others are welcome to just come to listen-in and learn about TMOM business items.

She is certified and has advanced training in treatments for multiple neuro-developmental challenges, including her designation as a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist. Heather regularly shares with professionals and nonprofits from across the country, and presented at the 2018 National Autism Summit.
