Australia has a strong vision for digital health and significant innovation already underway. However, there remains no consistent pathway to fund and commission digitally enabled models of care at scale. This exclusive senior policy forum, convened by MTAA, APACMed and Monash University, will bring together government, health service and industry leaders to explore practical solutions for supporting the full-service model of digital healthcare.
Using the National Health Reform Agreement service model reform funding pathway as a starting point, participants will examine how health systems can better fund, implement and sustain digital health initiatives that deliver meaningful patient and system outcomes.
Through a focused and collaborative discussion, attendees will contribute to the development of key system design principles, explore the policy and commissioning implications of reform, and identify near-term priorities that can help shape future government policy, funding approaches and advocacy efforts across Australia's healthcare system.
