Student Volunteer EOI Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA).

Please submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) below. Successful applicants will be contacted by the MTAA Events team.

To provide opportunities for new volunteers, priority will be given to first-time volunteers. If you have previously volunteered at an MTAA event, you are still welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to new volunteers. Returning volunteers will be notified if their application is successful.

Important Eligibility Requirement

To be considered for the Student Volunteer Program, you must be available to attend both the International Women's Day Walk and MedTech Conference 2027, as well as the mandatory activities listed below.

Please note that three of the required activities take place on 23 February 2027. Ensure you review your availability carefully before submitting your application.

Time: 1:45pm-2:15pm

Dates: 2 & 3 March 2027

Time: 7:30am-5:30pm, with a choice to stay for the reception

Are you comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and undertaking light physical activity?

I am interested and available to volunteer at MTAA International Women's Day Walk 23 February 2027, 9.00am-11.45am and both days at MTAA MedTech Conference 2-3 March 2027, 7.30am-7.30pm

As a volunteer, your role is to:
- • Setup registration desk - pull-banners, table, tablecloth, name tags, wristbands
- • Registration support - greet delegates, distribute name tags and wristbands
- • Directional usher - direct delegates to host, answer queries, direct groups to Networking after the walk
- • Communicate with MTAA Event Manager if any issues arise so we can provide support

*Registration is only valid when completed with a university email address. All volunteers are welcome to join the networking event as an attendee after the walk.

All relevant information will be provided in advance for your review. The pre-event briefing will be held to support your understanding of the role, provide answers to questions, and share any updates before the event.
