Session Information: Classroom Management doesn't have to be a chore. When we focus on Trauma-Informed practices and meeting student needs, we can create classrooms where students and teachers collaborate and thrive.

Workshop title: A Joyful Immersion: Creating Engaging, Multidisciplinary Classrooms in the Target Language

Workshop Description: This workshop explores strategies inspired by the Responsive Classroom model, reimagined for full-immersion language environments. Participants will examine how to design classroom space and routines that support students’ social-emotional development while maintaining rigorous content instruction in the target language. The session emphasizes joyful learning through integrated units that combine language acquisition with a variety of subject matter, all within a culturally and linguistically sustaining framework. This workshop is for language educators of all levels.
