Field trip to Flag Fen - £60.00 (29 tickets remaining)

Date: Saturday 25th May 2019 Description: The field trip will enable you to visit Flag Fen, Archaeology Park. Here we will hear a number of speakers introducing us to the archaeology of the Fenlands, the management and in-situ preservation regime at Flag Fen, as well as the conservation of the Must Farm Log Boats. Following the talks and lunch we will walk around the site with our speakers to see the Log Boat conservation facility and part of the in-situ preserved track-way, which is exposed and visible. Included in the price are: coach transfer from Portsmouth (Historic Dockyard) to Flag Fen Archaeology Park and back, entry fee to the Archaeology Park, talks, buffet lunch and a guided walk around the site.
