Crooked Folk is a Celtic folk-fusion band based in Whitehorse, Yukon, known for high-energy traditional Irish music, jigs, reels, and folk songs. The band frequently performs at local Yukon venues and festivals, featuring instrumentation such as the Irish whistle, small Scottish pipes, and guitar.

Get ready for a night of big hooks, retro grooves, and nonstop energy as Paris Pick and Damien Alblas bring an unforgettable double bill to the stage. A familiar face to Yukon audiences, Paris Pick got her start in Whitehorse’s open mic and live music scene before heading to Nelson, B.C. to study at Selkirk College. Since then, she has continued turning heads with her infectious blend of "yacht-pop", soul, and modern indie flair. Backed by her band The Pricks, Pick delivers powerhouse vocals, sparkling 70s inspired grooves, and magnetic stage presence that have earned praise from CBC Music and many other prominent music leaders in the industry. 

Sharing the spotlight, Damien Alblas brings heartfelt indie rock packed with soaring melodies, raw emotion, and classic rock spirit inspired by artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and The Beatles. Known for his electrifying live performances and memorable songwriting, Alblas has opened for Doug and the Slugs, Valdy, B.A. Johnston, and Dustin Bentall while building momentum toward his debut album release. Together, these two bands promise a feel-good night of dancing, singalongs, and unforgettable live music you will not want to miss.

Hendrika is the stage name of Selina Heyligers-Hare, a Whitehorse-based, Yukon folk-rock musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She performs solo or with a band, blending folk, jazz harmonies, and classic rock influences (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin).  Live performances often feature a rotating lineup of musicians, including Tara Martin (drums/harmonies), Jordy Walker (bass/harmonies), and others. 

Blue Caribou is a blues band that brings a harmonica driven Chicago blues sound with a mix of classic standards and newer blues favorites. Since getting started, the band has built a strong local following and has already played multiple gigs at the 98, including a set at the New Year’s Eve show. The band delivers an energetic, authentic blues experience that gets audiences moving.

KABN is a true northern band, practicing in a little cabin nestled at the base of Mount Sima in Whitehorse, Yukon. They are a group of aspiring song writers who play a wide variety of music, but regularly come back to their roots as a blues/rock band. If you like a mix of blues and rock, like the Tragically Hip, the Headstones and the White Stripes, mixed with fun new originals, you will love these guys. Bring your dancing shoes!

Kim Rogers and Gemini Fire is a Yukon-based rock band delivering elegant, badass retro rock with a powerful blend of 70s classic rock swagger and 80s crunch. Led by singer-songwriter Kim Rogers, the band features Frank Jacques on lead guitar, Shannon Gladwin on bass, and Neil Byblow on percussion. Known for a sound they describe as “velvet meets snakeskin,” the band combines grit, style, and high energy performances. Their latest 2025 release, Kharma to Burn, continues to showcase their bold, riff driven sound.

This Yukon Trio with Annie Avery on piano, Keitha Clark on fiddle, and Rob Bergman on bass is certainly greater than the sum of its parts. From raging fiddle tunes and swing jazz to a tender waltz, this combo is sure to please all musical senses.

A truly authentic blues band, these cats have enough combined experience to rock the Canadian Blues world. Manfred Janssen, award winning Yukon song writer and singer heads this bunch with lead vocals and guitar, while Juno collecting producer Bob Hamilton also rips it up on guitar. Add to the mix Rocky Bergman on solid bass, Jimmy Salt driving it forward on the skins, and the rhythm section is complete. The icing on the cake is provided by Annie Avery with the Hammond organ and bona fide Leslie speaker.

The Compassion Pills are a Whitehorse based goth blues band formed by daughter father songwriting duo Morgan Gallagher (vocals and keys) and Sam Gallagher (lap steel). The Gallaghers have enlisted a cast of super talented Whitehorse musicians to bring their original songs, and some select covers, to life. The Compassion Pills have performed in Atlin, BC, at The Globe Theatre, and at the Guild Theatre, Lefty’s Well, The 98 and in Whitehorse, the Pit in Dawson, and the Village Bakery in Haines Junction. They released their first album Creature of Habit, in 2023. In August of 2025 The Pills travelled to Hungary for a well received tour. Currently joining Morgan and Sam are Gabor Nagy (drums), Marcus Martin (guitar), and Jody Peters (bass).
